Shay Viner – “Ten Li’Atzmicha Lachlom”

Shay Viner – “Ten Li’Atzmicha Lachlom”

The boy wonder Shay Viner, who won the title of “Taglit Hashana-Discovery of the Year” on the music charts, continues to storm the playlist, and this time with an energetic single full of encouragement and hope. “Ten Li’Atzmicha Lachlom” transmits a powerful message: Even at a young age, it is allowed and desirable to dream big…

The song was written following Shay‘s personal experience: Following a previous song of his, an unwelcome attitude was created around him by fellow students, and his father strengthened him against the disdain expressed by his friends in the song and in the artist himself. “My father instilled in me the faith to go all the way with my dream, and not listen to ‘background noises’. This understanding changed everything,” thanks to which, the energetic song of the summer was born.

“Look at love, at the end of the night there is hope
And walk with your dream, always in the paths of pleasure
At the end of the day let yourself dream
You are not alone for once – take one more breath”

The song offers a message of hope, love and faith in dreams, while providing encouragement to anyone who needs encouragement in difficult moments. Shay, 13 and a half years old, the eldest son of an observant family from Beit Shemesh, is taking his last steps before studying at a yeshiva. Despite his young age, he manages to successfully combine religious studies with a burgeoning musical career, promising to thrive in both areas.
His previous songs have received a lot of attention in the ultra-Orthodox, religious and Haredi media. “Yeah Li Melech” became the anthem of the period, and his English single “Child of God” was also very successful, bringing him to many homes overseas, and prompting his managers to create a tour of performances for him in Jewish communities abroad. In parallel with his musical career, Shay specializes in the performing arts: voice development and piano playing, and prepares additional surprises for the audience. The new work “Ten Liatzmicha Lachlom” is another step in a promising and inspiring musical journey, by a young artist who proves that even at an early age it is possible to influence and arouse emotion.
