“Yishkof” – Shimon Bar Yochai In An Anthem of Hope
In the midst of a challenging period, in which the Israeli spirit is tested anew every day, singer and songwriter Shimon Bar Yochai releases a breathtaking rendition of the song “Yishkof” – the immortal anthem of hope and faith that now receives a new, precise and moving interpretation.
The song expresses the absolute confidence in a higher power that lifts us above all difficulties. The new arrangement is a soundtrack to these moments – moments of struggle, but mainly moments of expectation of salvation that will come at lightning speed.
“Yishkof Elokim” is a musical experience that combines power and sensitivity, between an ancient prayer and a contemporary sound. It invites the audience not only to listen, but to feel – to feel the uncompromising faith, the complete confidence, and the promise of immediate salvation.
