Yonatan Razel In A New Single From The Live Album – ‘David’

Singer and composer Yonatan Razel releases a performance of his song ‘David‘ from a new Live album released towards the month of Elul. The album was recorded at a special piano performance that takes place every year before Rosh Hashanah at the Y-M Theater, and includes the best of Yonatan Razel‘s beloved and well-known songs, alongside selected Selichot poems and songs from the Yamim Noraim.

The song ‘David‘ took on a special and renewed meaning following the period and the encounters with soldiers and their families, encounters in which the image of the Israeli soldier shone in a special light: a fearless hero who is willing to give his life for his people, but at the same time full of gentleness, sensitivity and in many cases combined with the soul of an artist. Similar to the image of King David, who is our ‘warrior’, but at the same time the pleasant songs of Israel.

As mentioned, the single “David” is one track from the full show that will be released on Aza in the coming weeks, in preparation for another show that will also take place this year ahead of the High Holy Days.
