IVDU | AVI GANZ [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO ]
Jewish soul-pop artist Avi Ganz is back with a burst of joy in his brand-new single, IVDU – an infectious, ukulele-driven anthem celebrating happiness, kindness, and the simple beauty of spreading smiles.
With its upbeat rhythm, catchy melodies, and sun-soaked vibe, IVDU is more than just a song – it’s a movement. Inspired by the verse “Ivdu es Hashem b’simcha” (“Serve God with joy”), the track channels that message through a modern, melodic lens perfect for dancing barefoot on the beach or cruising with the windows down.
The official music video, filmed along Israel’s vibrant coast, captures Ganz in his element: barefoot (and upside down) with a ukulele, handing out ice cream and high-fives to strangers, and reminding everyone he meets that a little joy can go a long way.
“This song is my way of reminding myself that being happy is a choice,” says Ganz. As Abe Lincoln put it: “Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.”. I couldn’t agree more.
IVDU blends acoustic warmth, handclaps, and layered harmonies that linger long after the final chord. It’s the kind of song that leaves you humming and maybe even a little happier than before you pressed play.
