Yochanan Chait Releases “Bechira” – A New Single That Puts Us Through Testing Times

After the success of “Osher,” the first single that conquered the playlists on religious radio stations and won the love of the audience, Yochanan Chait continues to surprise us with “Bechira” – a powerful song in a rock style with lyrical depth that invites listeners to introspect.

Bechira” presents the critical moments in a person’s life – those points where they are faced with a fateful decision: whether to rise and choose a path that will lead them forward, or to miss the moment and let it pass. The song deals with the internal struggle that accompanies every significant decision – the paralyzing fear, the conflicting voices in their head, the feeling that everything depends on one moment – and there is no turning back. Through powerful imagery and poignant writing, Yochanan paints a vivid picture of this crossroads, as he takes the listener through the storm of emotions that comes with making a choice.

After the successful collaboration on the single “Osher“, Yochanan continues to work with music producer David Ichlovitch, who is known for his work with leading artists such as Ishay Ribo. Ichlovitch manages to take Yochanan’s unique writing and give it additional depth through a rock-like arrangement that combines emotion, power and precise melody.

“When we worked together on ‘Osher‘, I felt that David understood exactly where I was going. With ‘Bechira‘, I wanted to bring something different, with more tension, more power – and David managed to bring it out perfectly,” says Yochanan. “He knows how to preserve the uniqueness of the song and strengthen it, and it is a privilege to work with him again.”
