TYH Nation Presents: HIGHER – Aryeh Rubin

TYH Nation Presents: HIGHER – Aryeh Rubin

We were listening to a Yid in shul learning the halachic topic of Maalin Bakodesh V’Ein Moridin. This principle teaches that when something is set aside for a holy purpose, it can be elevated, but it should never be lowered or downgraded. This applies not just to objects, but to people too.

And then it clicked! This idea also has a powerful message for our personal avodah—our service to Hashem. Our neshama (soul) is constantly pulling us upwards, from the physical world towards greater spirituality.

This is what life is about: continuously climbing the ladder of growth, going higher and higher, striving for that ultimate connection and relationship with Hashem.

The release of this song on Rosh Chodesh Elul, is an incredible reminder of what we all strive for during this special time.  Elul is a time when Hashem is extra desirous of us and when we can experience an extreme sense of closeness to Hashem.  We can use that energy and power to propel our growth Higher and Higher.

Introducing Aryeh Rubin, an extremely talented musician and vocalist who as well as performing this song embodies a life of Maalin Bakodesh in everything that he does.  Aryeh lives in Toms River, NJ and loves to bring new levels of simcha to all types of events.
