Connecting From Afar: Moshe Auslander Connects With Rabbi Shimon In A New Single: “Tomachti”
For the past few years, We have seen incredible challenges in connecting to Rabbi Shimon in “person” in Meron.
However, our connection and Rabbi Shimon’s fire grows stronger. Perhaps we are being shown that wherever we are, we can connect to that fire.
After the Meron Tragedy in 5781/2021, we were broken.
I was struggling for words, like the rest of Klal Yisrael. I came upon the words of Rav Nosson of Breslov (Likutei Tefillos 10)
Our only hope is to rely on the prayers of the true Tzaddikim, both those who are alive in this world and those who dwell in the earth. They are my only foundation.I am relying on their great merit and power as I come before You, HaShem .
These startling and beautiful words gave me tremendous hope. Our hearts were broken. And they have been broken again since. Yet, Hashem’s plan is not broken. That our tefillos can be “carried” by the Tefillos of our Tzaddikim- that hasn’t changed. Now, more than ever, we will storm the heavens. And we are standing on the shoulders of our Tzaddikim, chief among them Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
Bzchus Reb Shimon Bar Yochai, Tatte, Please hear our tefillos, We want to come home.
Dedicated L’ilui Nishmas Donny Morris Z”L and the Kedoshei Meron Z’L
