Singer R’ Moshe David Weissmandl, legendary composer Sruli Lipshitz, the Neshama choir, and maestro Simcha Abramchik and his orchestra, got together one one stage. Together in one performance, they davened, “Heilige Tatte, beit ich fun dir, lechtige kinder zol’n tuhn dahn vil banim uvnei banim, zagl’n vargen on lib huben dayn Torah.” HaShem, I beg of You to give me children and grandchildren, who will follow in Your ways.
They sang these words to Sruli’s tune of V’sayhav Li Binin Dichrin.
