“On The Side Of The Road, In Plain Clothes, Sitting & Waiting For People’s Pity” Eli Herzlich In A New & Addictive Summer Hit – “Rak Latet”

For chassidic singer-star Eli Herzlich the year 2020 was the best that could have started. A new album, billboards, songs that become hits on radio stations, hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, a successful album release show that is the first taste of a national tour. And then … Corona! And everything stopped in a second. Except however for Herzlich, who always chooses to look on the positive side of everything. This is a great opportunity to give and keep giving to the environment and the community, and since then and throughout the confused and challenging period Herzlich has been at the forefront, but especially behind the scenes of doing for others and giving wholeheartedly.

Rak Latet” is a sweeping and addictive pop hit with a message of giving in any form to any person at any time and especially during this period. The song is the result of Herzlich‘s initial collaboration with musician and composer/arranger Udi Damari. The connection between the two was born when Damari was exposed to the hit “Hamalach” which was a success throughout the Jewish world, and decided to make him his own vocal version. From the acquaintance between the two, Damari wrote and composed and created the song that would be tailored to Herzlich‘s [literally] dimensions.

A spectacular music video was shot for the single, which was filmed in the alleys of Nahalat Binyamin in Tel Aviv and dramatizes for the viewer the meaning of giving in every way and for each and every one.
