8th Day New Video “Elika D’Meir”
8th Day comes out with new single and new music video during social distancing.
The popular Chasidic rock group 8th Day, led by brothers Shmuel and Bentzi Marcus, has released a new song and music video entitled “Elika D’Meir.”
“The chorus lyrics are an actual prayer based on the teachings of the Baal Shem-Tov, very relevant right now and we hope very uplifting”, says the Marcus brothers.
They filmed themselves on their cell phones while observing the social distancing guidelines and reached out to fans all over the world to help contribute to the video endeavor. Fans excitedly jumped on the opportunity and submissions came in from England, Brazil, Israel, NY, California, North Carolina, and many more corners of the earth.
The video features fans of all ages and backgrounds, creating an inspiring unity that will surely be a source of blessing.
