Chai Hashem – Animated Version – Featuring Benzion Klatzko & Pinny Schachter
Chai Hashem is another in a series of Shabbas zemiros that Rabbi Klatzko and the Klatzko family have composed to renew the love and spirit of Shabbas in their home. The animation is a fun way to remember how bright and beautiful our world is, where every animal has its own song to the Creator. Rabbi Klatzko feels particularly passionate about this beautiful and calming Chai Hashem as there are fewer tunes composed to these holy words and people have stopped singing this zemer on Shabbas. Some zemiros books no longer include the zemer Chai Hashem altogether! Rabbi Klatzko hopes people will once again begin singing Chai Hashem with this new composition.
