The Werdyger Family Celebrate Yisroel’s New Album ‘Du Voint A Yid’
The royal family of Jewish music has gathered to celebrate the continuation of their legacy, the release of a new album by one of their own.
In a rare video, the renowned Werdyger family comes together to express their affection and appreciation to Yisroel Werdyger on the occasion of the release of the wildly popular new album, “Du Voint a Yid.”
Yisroel spent his childhood and formative years ensconced in the noble Werdyger family. A son of Mendy Werdyger, he absorbed the special sounds we all grew up with – the transformative chazzanus of his grandfather, R’ Dovid; and the music of his uncle, Mordechai, known as MBD, and his son Yeedle.
Sruly has had significant musical exposure from an early age, absorbing it with his alef beis. And you can’t have a more beautiful habitat to produce the “Sruly Werdyger” phenomenon than by growing up in the Werdyger family.
