Lyrics:
The Greeks came to attack
He said all follow me
He said God’s got our backs
I’m Judah Maccabee
This Temple is our destiny
They said where’s the oil
Get Judah Maccabee
It was a very tough fight
The physical and spiritual worlds unite
Hopeless every day then we saw the light
Oh we came around and stood together
’round and stood together
They tried to harm
Then miracles they happened
Now every year we say
The Greeks came to attack
He said all follow me
He said God’s got our backs
I’m Judah Maccabee
This Temple is our destiny
They said where’s the oil
Get Judah Maccabee
A Godless nation were the greeks
They didn’t let the Jews be in their scene
Who is for God just stand with me
Oh we came around and stood together
’round and stood together
They tried to harm
Then miracles they happened
Now every year we say
The Greeks came to attack
He said all follow me
He said God’s got our backs
I’m Judah Maccabee
This Temple is our destiny
They said where’s the oil
Get Judah Maccabee
We realize the Torah is our future
No compromise we got another chance
They tried to harm
Then miracles they happened
Now every year we say
The Greeks came to attack
He said don’t mess with me
He said God’s got our backs
I’m Judah Maccabee
This Temple is our destiny
They said where’s the oil
Get JUDAH MAC
The Greeks came to attack
He said don’t mess with me
He said God’s got our backs
I’m Judah Maccabee
This Temple is our destiny
They said where’s the oil
Get Judah Maccabee
Where’s the oil?
Get Judah Maccabee
Where’s the oil?
Get Judah Maccabee
