Ken Burgess – Look At it Now
Four years have passed since the Ken Burgess last album. These days, Burgess is completes his work on his fourth album in a series of Jewish music albums. Burgess to whose DNA is all over his music be it writing the lyrics on the tunes or creating the arrangements, is undertaking to create a real talented piece of music.
The new free single you can hear today on Israeli radio is just a tiny glimpse into this album and how much talent he invested. More than two years of intensive work has spawned a musical masterpiece in the form of a special album which contains nine songs, intertwined sections across the musical authors. Poems, expresses Burgess insights acquired throughout his life through events and characters.
the song is entitled “LOOK AT IT NOW” (Free translation: Look at the reality in the eye), which is part concept revealed only after hearing the album in its entirety, laments that for thousands of years of Jewish history, nothing has changed, the prophecies remained unchanged, to the suffering never ended, and corruption I never slice of the world. The song ends with the last words of the prophecy of the last of the prophets, angels: “Here’s selfish will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming days the great and terrible”.
In the coming weeks the album will be distributed inmusic stores.
