Pinchas Menachem Friedberg – V’Ashrei Chelkam
The Chafetz Chaim wrote the words “V’Ashrei Chelkam” in his sefer about people who give of themselves to bring about chizzuk of Shmiras Shabbos and Mitzvos in Am Yisrael.
The composer R’ Yisrael Meir Friedberg merited to compose a beautiful and special song using these words. The song is dedicated to those who give of their time to encourage Shmiras Shabbos in Ashdod and throughout Israel. It is also dedicated by his good friend R’ Yisrael Aharon Thaler in memory of his sister Mrs. Reisi Monderer (Thaler).
The composition was arranged by R’ Yehoshua Fried, who gave his tremendous professional talent to the song, which is accompanied by the world-renowned Yedidim choir. The song itself is sung by Pinchas Menachem Friedberg, son of the composer.
