Borei Nefashot: The Debut Album From Menachem Assaf
Menachem Assaf is a talented musician, who in the past has been involved in alternative Chassidic music production, but in the past four years have been solely involved in his own debut album similar to the style that we know and recognize. In the past few months he has already released 2 singles off the album, which have been greeted with much excitement.
Soon, he will be finally releasing his full debut album, called Borei Nefashot. Each song on the album was born during a time of happiness, pain, or introspection, a moment in his life which he is sharing with his listeners. The lyrics for his songs are taken from texts and partially written by himself, over 4 long years of creativity and production. In the album booklet, alongside each song, is a description of background behind the song.
There are 11 tracks on the album, with funk, rock, light jazz, flamenco, and others, and each song is something different. Menachem wrote the arrangements himself, in his studio Atmosphere.
