Dovid Lowy Releases “Elokai” Vocal Version Single For Sefira

Just four short months ago JM fans were treated to the debut album titled Ata Imadi from new artist named Dovid Lowy. With arrangements by Jeff Horvich, Eli Klein, Yitzy Berry and Eli Woznica, and featuring duets with both Abie Rotenberg and Yosef Karduner and backup vocals by Ari Goldwag on two tracks, Ata Imadi featured the talent of some of the biggest names in the industry.

The album garnered much acclaim with hits like Ma Rabu, Ata Imadi, Meheira and Hineni. Now for yemei hasferia, Dovid has released a vocal version of the self composed hit song Elokai. Elokai the vocal version features vocal arrangements and bachup by Ari Goldwag, as well as child soloist Dovid Pearlman. Dovid says about the words “This beautiful prayer that is said right at the start of the day contains perhaps the two most important weapons against the yetzer hara. One, always remember that your neshomo is tahor – no matter what. Two, as long as you are alive and breathing, your heart should overflow with gratitude Modeh Ani.”
