Amiran Dvir comments, “It all started during the war. People were sending out messages and posting online to pray for this soldier or that soldier who got wounded. All of the messages were stating to repeated the same perek of Tehillim, perek Kuf Caf Alef. Every few minutes I found myself sitting down wherever I was and reciting Tehillim for the refuah of yet another soldier. One day, I sat at the piano and started playing. I was so used to seeing friend’s messages to pray, that I started to prayed with the piano. It was then that I composed this song with that perek in mind. While I was singing, I imagined myself singing the song as a duet with someone who is not necessarily religious, to illustrate the achdut of the time. It was then that I remembered my old dream, to one day sing with the talented Arik Sinai, his voice giving me the chills, and here’s the result for you.”
