Freedom Season – Along The Way

Freedom Season – Along The Way

The band Freedom Season (Osher Gutnick and Shmuel Chazanow) has been together since their yeshiva days in Morristown NJ about 5 years ago. The songs on the album were written over the years and the album was released about 10 months ago in November/Cheshvon time.

The name of the band is Freedom Season which is an indirect translation of Zman Cheruseinu. The name of the album, “Along the Way” is taken from the opening track of the album.

Shmuel Chazanow is from Los Angeles, CA and Osher Gutnick is from Melbourne, AU.

The bands style is folk (folk-rock) and our inspiration comes from Hashem our families and friends.

They are influenced by everything we hear and express it in their own way. I don’t feel we have a particular influence or even genre although most would call it folk.

Freedom Season has been told that they sound reminiscent of Moshav and Destiny. You can purchase the album on MostlyMusic, iTunes and Amazon.
