Yoni Genut: “When I was a yeshiva student, every week we had a minhad to stay up learning all night long. Towards the end of the night after putting on tallit and tefillin when you could still see the stars but are starting to feel the morning we would sing the poem “ברון יחד כוכבי בוקר”, which is this single. Body was tired, The sky was clean and quiet and I think that could be more “pay attention to the soul …” Later I played it again myself and I decided to record it. I kept hearing in my head the voice of Ohad Bonai in the background. After contacting Ohad to see if he would perform on the track to my great delight he agreed immediately.
