Yoni Genut feat. Ohad Bonai – Beron Yachad

This new single from the upcoming album “Ois Leois“, the debut solo album from singer Yoni Genut will iy”h be released after Tisha B’Av. This album will feature musical collaborations with Ohad Bonai, Daniel Solomon, Erez Lev Ari, Shay Gabso, Arik Sinai and music producer ASI Ayalon (Alma Zohar, Mosh Ben-Ari, and more).

After a decade of performing with the band “Bein Hashmoshois” who are Jewish rock pioneers, Genut has demonstrated that you could combine the quality and rock music inspired by the sources of personal texts. Now Yoni is ready to show world what he can do just what he can do.

Yoni Genut: “When I was a yeshiva student, every week we had a minhad to stay up learning all night long. Towards the end of the night after putting on tallit and tefillin when you could still see the stars but are starting to feel the morning we would sing the poem “ברון יחד כוכבי בוקר”, which is this single. Body was tired, The sky was clean and quiet and I think that could be more “pay attention to the soul …” Later I played it again myself and I decided to record it. I kept hearing in my head the voice of Ohad Bonai in the background. After contacting Ohad to see if he would perform on the track to my great delight he agreed immediately.
