Presenting JM365: The Ultimate 14 month calendar for the JM fan!
JM365 started as a monthly FREE download on right here on theJewishInsights.com this past January. Before we knew it we had over 2,000 + download and counting. Seeing the writing on the wall we took JM265 to the next level. Starting today 5,000 glossy copies of this 14 month (September 2011-October 2012) collectors calendar will be distributed FREE in the tri-state area. Each month we have extensive biography’s and backgrounds into the artists featured, as well as some photos which highlight their careers. Some might inquire why their favorite artist isn’t in these amazing pages. Well there’s two parts to that answer, either the star asked us to respect their privacy or our “Board” felt that regardless of how successful a particular star is…or was, they didn’t really change the Jewish Music landscape as much as enhance it. Again we respect your right to differ with our superstar selections and we welcome your thinking on our thinking (just email us at [email protected]). Besides as they say after the Superbowl “There’s always next year”.
In any case, the artists we DO feature in this debut edition of JM365 (yes we’re already at work on next year’s version) is a very diverse mix. From MBD to Yossele Rosenblatt and Jo Amar to Yisroel Lamm we feature a wide variety of talented individuals who have contributed to JM in the last 20-30 years. You’ll find we also featured some non-performers who we unanimously felt should be included because they are instrumental in changing the face of Jewish music.
In any case, we hope you enjoy JM/365 as much as we enjoyed creating it …and more important as much as you enjoy the superstars you’ll find in it.
