Thousands are expected in Crown Heights on Sunday for the Great Lag B’Omer Parade, marching on behalf of Jewish unity, education and other important Jewish ideals.
The event on May 22, 2011, will be held in front of Lubavitch Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn.
The Parade, an over 50-year old tradition, is a special tribute to the Rebbe, originator of the Parade who placed strong emphasis on the importance of gathering and uniting Jewish people and children.
The parade will include floats, the 12 Pesukim, marching bands and the stars of the show – thousands of Jewish children marching in unity.
The Parade will also include performances by Avraham Fried, Mordechai Ben David, Benny Friedman, Uncle Moishy and the French Acrobatic Twins.
COLlive.com – Community News Service, will provide an exclusive live video broadcast of the parade. Tune in at 10:00 am for all the excitement.
