LA Lag Baomer Concert – Parade – Fair

LA Lag Baomer Concert – Parade – Fair

Lag B’Omer marks the Yom Hilula of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, who instructed that, on the day of his passing one should rejoice, for he has completed his mission which his Neshama has been sent this world to do.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe would encourage that, on the day of Lag B’Omer, especially when falling on a Sunday, children parades & rallies be held throughout the world.

Thus, Sunday, May 22nd, there will be a Concert, Parade & Fair in the streets of Pico Blvd in Los Angeles. The program will feature a children’s rally, lively concert with Jewish Children’s Singer Chaim Fogelman, an exciting Acro-dunking Show by The TNT Dunk Squad, an entertaining show by The World-Famous Platt Brothers, followed by a colorful parade and fun-filled fair. The parade will feature colorful floats, children marching bands, and children from many local Jewish schools, marching with his poster sign held high in hand, together with other children in Jewish pride. Following the parade will be a full-day fair & concert for families to enjoy which will include Chaim Fogelman, The Paltt Brothers & The Cheder Boys Choir.

The Rally will start at 10:30 a.m., the Parade at 11:30 a.m. and the fair at 12:45 – 4:00 p.m. Admission to the event is free, while rides are sold at nominal cost.

A joint project of Chabad Youth Programs, Kol Yaakov Yehuda, Yeshiva Ohr Elchanan Chabad & Cheder Menachem. For more information please call (310) 208-7511, ext. 270
