32,908 people from around the world watched COLlive’s exclusive live broadcast of the Great Lag BaOmer Parade from 770 Eastern Parkway.

Thousands arrived in Crown Heights on Sunday for the Great Lag BaOmer Parade, marching on behalf of Jewish unity, education and other important Jewish ideals.

The event on May 2, 2010, was held in front of Lubavitch Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn.

It was a special tribute to the Rebbe, originator of the Parade who placed strong emphasis on the importance of gathering and uniting Jewish people and children.

The parade is a project of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, NCFJE and Tzivos Hashem.

For the first time, Chassidic music superstars Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried, Lipa Shmeltzer and Uncle Moishy were on stage singing together.

After the concert and the 12 Pesukim, classic favorites including marching bands and beautiful floats as well as the stars of the show, the Jewish boys and girls, marched to Kingston Avenue.

32,908 people tuned in to the live video broadcast presented exclusively on COLlive.com – Chabad Lubavitch Community News Service. Many watched it with their family and friends. A few Shluchim screened it for their Chabad House members.

Yankee Teitelbaum and his camera crew filmed, while Yan Veinblat of Innovision AV provided the feed.

COLlive’s editor Yehuda Ceitlin and videographer Levi Hillel flew over in a helicopter with the iParade winner Chaya Lipszyc and winner of the Released Time competition Michael Kakzanov
