The 10th Anniversary For The Competition for Writing Torah: Starring Avraham Fried, Mordechai Ben David & The Menagnim Orchestra
This is the tenth anniversary of the project of writing the Torah novellae of Torah scholars in Holon, where hundreds of the city’s residents participate in the best tradition. In honor of the event, a special book was published, combining the best of the groups that were written over the past decade, and which rewarded their writers with valuable prizes.
The event took place in the presence of Rabonim, Torah scholars, neighborhood rabbis, Knesset members and public figures, headed by Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef Yosef, shlita, Rabbis of the city Maran HaGaon Rabbi Avraham Yosef and Rabbi Gur Aryeh, Minister of Interior, Negev and Galilee Rabbi Arye Deri Shlit “a, CEO of” Al HaMa’ayan “Movement Rabbi Chaim Biton, with the participation of Mayor of Holon Mr. Moti Sasson.
On the musical performance side of the evening were the two chassidic giants Avraham Fried and Mordechai Ben-David, who joined forces in a historic and unforgettable performance, accompanied by the extended “Hamenagnim” orchestra conducted by Moishe Roth.
The evening was held with the help and encouragement of the Torah Culture Department of the Holon Municipality, headed by Rabbi Chaim Zbarlo and his right-hand man Ilan Cohen-Tzedek
