FDD Vocal Group Hosts A Special Shabbat Medley [Video]

The FDD Vocal ensemble from FDD Productions opens this period of the 3 weeks, Bein Hamitzarim, by releasing a spectacular clip of the of Nigunim and Shabbat songs. The video features a vocal accompaniment of a special Sabbath, from Kabbalas Shabbas through the musical Havdalah ceremony.

The FDD Vocal ensemble was established several months ago and includes five singers who are graduates of the military rabbinate band and has been a huge success in Israel and around the world. One of the advantages and the significant message that the ensemble brings with it is a musical accompaniment is that the style is that of Aidut Mizrachi. The vocalists also appear in events and performances as solo artists themselves and sing in a wide variety of languages ​​and musical styles, from authentic Chassidic music to contemporary world music.

Two months ago, the members of the ensemble released their first single, “Yerusholayim Sheli” together with their former commander, the chief military cantor, Lt. Col. Shai Abramson, in an astonishingly public way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Jerusalem.

As mentioned above, the ensemble members are now releasing a new and refreshing clip in a special vocal arrangement written by their musical director Nathaniel Ben Giat.
