{"id":59422,"date":"2024-04-16T16:22:30","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T21:22:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thejewishinsights.com\/wp\/?p=59422"},"modified":"2024-04-16T16:22:31","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T21:22:31","slug":"avraham-david-returns-with-a-new-albummilev-el-lev","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thejewishinsights.com\/wp\/avraham-david-returns-with-a-new-albummilev-el-lev\/","title":{"rendered":"Avraham David Returns With A New Album&#8221;MiLev El Lev&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>French singer, <strong>Avraham David<\/strong>, has been working for the last two years, on a new project with producer\/arranger <strong>Joshua Levitt<\/strong>, a US native who moved to Paris twenty years ago.<br \/><strong>Joshua<\/strong> owns and plays in one of the best wedding bands in Paris and happens to be an amazing arranger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While all of <strong>Avraham<\/strong>\u2019s previous music productions were created by talented arrangers and producers in both Israel and the US, for this special album <strong>Avraham<\/strong> wanted it produced, with the music recorded in its entirety in France, his home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Releasing original songs for the world to learn is an amazing thing. Hearing your songs sung and performed by others at smachot etc. is really special.<br \/>&#8220;It was very special to see that my song &#8220;<strong>Yehudi Ze Hachi<\/strong>&#8221; has been covered by many singers!\u00a0and is still performed at weddings and concerts.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this new album however, <strong>Avraham<\/strong> wanted to record covers of popular songs he loves.<br \/>Why covers?<br \/>\u201cTo be able to give your interpretation and version of the songs you connect to is another part of you that people can discover,\u201d says <strong>Avraham<\/strong>.<br \/>\u201cThat&#8217;s why the new album is titled \u201c<strong>From My Heart To Yours<\/strong>.\u201d<br \/>I sing all my favorite songs (from my heart) and hope it will touch other hearts!! (<strong>MiLev El Lev<\/strong>)\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturally, the album consists of a full string section, brass section, rhythm section etc. including more than fifteen musicians, only the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me from France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new album is being released as four parts (or EPs). Part one, which was just released is a Mizrachi style EP, featuring some of <strong>Avraham David<\/strong>\u2019s favorite Mizrachi songs reimagined by him and his team.
