Zevi Daniel)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Yitzy Kaplowitz<\/strong> is a singer\/songwriter\/ guitarist on a mission to share heartfelt and inspiring Jewish music.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yitzy<\/strong> has been composing and performing since he was a young boy, but he put his musical pursuits on hold for a number of years to train to be a physician. After completing his medical training <strong>Yitzy<\/strong> returned to his music with a renewed passion and energy.  <strong>Yitzy<\/strong> is a sought after performer and together with his band <strong>Ohr Haganuz<\/strong> performs throughout the greater Baltimore area. <strong>Yitzy<\/strong> does not typically sit down to compose music; most of his compositions were gifts from above that came to him during times of deep hergesh. Musically, his compositions cover a range of styles, from folk to funk, Americana to blues, and all are infused with a deep yearning for spiritual growth.<\/p>\n<p>This new single <strong>Ki Heim Chayeinu<\/strong> is the first single to be released off his upcoming debut EP titled <strong>Hayom<\/strong>, set to be released in late 2019. After agreeing to be honored by his sons cheder, Yeshivas Kochav Yitzchak, <strong>Yitzy<\/strong> wanted to show his hakaras hatov to the dedicated staff of the cheder, and this song was composed in their honor. Our Rebeeim\/Moros and Teachers teach Torah to our children with tremendous sweetness and simcha. On a daily basis they imbue in our children the ideas embodied by this song.<\/p>\n<p>With the release of his music,<strong> Yitzy<\/strong> is going to tie sales of his music to charitable giving. <strong>Yitzy<\/strong> will start by giving 25% of proceeds to Tzedaka this amount will increase incrementally based on sales until a point where 100% will be given to Tzedaka. <strong>Yitzy<\/strong> is hopeful that this idea will encourage people to support emerging and \u201cindy\u201d Jewish artists while giving the artists the ability to give back to our communities.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TWDtfcZWyro\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Production Credits:<br \/>\nArranged and Produced by: Mendy Portnoy<br \/>\nMixed and Mastered by: Ben Wallick<br \/>\nVocals Recorded at: Bluedoor Studios Baltimore.
