(I have done my research.) It is believed to have been composed by the Talmidim of the &#8220;Maharash&#8221;, the 4th Rebbe of Chabad-Lubavitch. The Rebbe was not well. He would come out for Neiros Chanukah. The Chasdim composed a long song for <strong>Hanieros Halalu<\/strong> so that he would stay out longer and enable them to be together with him for that much longer! (Incredible!)<\/p>\n<p>I have wanted to perform this delicate piece at a wedding for the past 2-3 years. It&#8217;s not a simple feat. It needs the right setting. The right singer. The perfect accompaniment. (And people don&#8217;t love making weddings on Chanukah in general.)<\/p>\n<p>This year, Dec 23rd, (Zos Chanukah), we finally did it! At a wedding of a very close friend of mine, performing was, <strong>Shloime Daskal<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>The Mezamrim Choir<\/strong> led by <strong>Chilu Posen<\/strong> accompanied by <strong>Blue Melody<\/strong>.
