In Rabbi Nachman of Breslov’s book, ‘The Life of MoHaran’, one of the most moving and profound sayings spoken to the Chassidim who made the journey to him is quoted: “I wish I could see the light of the bright path that you are traveling to me.” This saying, which expresses the appreciation and longing of the tzaddik for every step, difficulty and effort of those who walk the path, has become a clear symbol of both the spiritual and physical journey. From the deep connection to these words and the meaning of the path to our Rabbi, singer Moti Carmel now presents a special musical project on the path to the artist.
The new medley weaves together a series of familiar and beloved melodies that have become the soundtrack of the Breslov Chassidim over the years. At the center of the work is The theme song by Bini Landau, “Or Behirut HaDerech“, is joined in a lively and energetic arrangement by the songs “B’Breslav Boeret Aish”, “K’Chayot Hanohamot Baya’ar”, “Tenu Li Et Libchem”, and “Bicha Rabeinu Nagila” by Yisrael Dagan.
