Shloime Cohen – Mareh Kohein

It took a little time, but altogether Shlomo and Ami Cohen were finished on time. "Mar’eh Cohen" – Shlomo and Ami Cohen’s new joint project has arrived this week at the stores. The new album features old wedding hits with new arrangements and also new melodies which will very soon turn into wedding hits. Shlomo and Ami Cohen are not related, but it seems that in families whose last name is Cohen the apple doesn’t fall far from the music neighborhood, Shlomo and Ami perform every evening at weddings and that’s why the idea came up to put out at album such as this one which will serve as their business card, a thing which many singers have decided to do lately. Two songs from the album have already been exposed here in Chasidinews, but we promised you a new song which Shlomo and Ami took out right from R’ Shlomo Carlebach’s drawer of compositions which is hidden somewhere in the world. So a minute before you go to the store to purchase the CD, listen to the next hit- Carlebach nigun. Distribution: L’chaim.
