Following the hits “Ein Davar Ra” and “Abba Ani Rotzeh Letaken“, songs performed at every concert and kumzitz singer, Shimon Levi, returns with a fresh sound and a special message regarding a topic rarely discussed: what happens when our attempts to “fix” things fall apart, and how the deepest connection to the Hashem often emerges precisely from that state of helplessness? Watch and be moved .
Singer Shimon Levi—known in the music industry as a hit-maker and a master of soulful songs—has enriched our playlists with emotional tracks that he performs alongside other artists at concerts and gatherings. He captivated tens of thousands with the hit “Ein Davar Ra” and moved audiences to repeatedly cry out “Abba Ani Rotzeh Letaken“—songs that spoke to the need for taking responsibility and making changes. Now, he presents a new offering that conveys a special message about the next, authentic stage of life: the moment when everything shatters, efforts are exhausted, and the child within is left alone and weeping.
This is where the poignant insight of the new single, “Boche Itcha,” comes into play. Our natural tendency is to believe that Hashem wants us only when we are strong, making progress, and “fixing” ourselves. Levy shatters this misconception in the chorus: “He needs you, He wants you—just as you are right now: crying.” …with you now.”
“Bocheh Itcha” is part of a cohesive body of work by Shimon Levi. It is a personal, warm, and heartfelt performance—perfect for intimate, soulful gatherings, moments of prayer, and for anyone who needs to know that even amidst pain, they are never alone.
