After two hard years of work, between concerts, rehearsals, recording sessions, and school for the boys, The Pirchei Israel boys choir has returned with their second album.

Most of the songs on the album are new and original, which were written and composed by Meir Gabay, who organizes and conducts the choir. Accompanying him is his producer Arnon Goldberg, who partnered in the emotional production of the song “Anovim” with the choir.

The new album entitled “Vesomachto Bechol Hatov” has twelve tracks. Like in the first album, the IDF chief Chazzan Shai Abramson took part in a few beautiful duets with the children of the choir. Abramson puts a lot of importance in taking part in the cultural aspects of the people the army protects. A lot of special emphasis was put into the song choice, as well as new and innovative musical production, which puts this project into a whole new caliber of music.

25 talented young boys make up this unique group. The children range from ages 7-15, and are very carefully chosen. The boys had to audition to join the group, from which they were chosen not only based off of their musical talent, but their musical background and sound as well.

The young ensemble chose an impressive repertoire that combines both Israeli style songs with songs of emunah and soul, with new-sounding production qualities and original composers. With rich musical styles and versatile lyrics, the choir has managed to put together that will fit with anyone’s personal musical taste.

Pirchei Israel is the religious children’s choir from Givat Shmuel. The choir performs in massive events in Israel and all over the world, alongside some of the biggest and best in the business. They frequently perform at important and impressive events, as well as at weddings and Bar Mitzvah parties.
