Dvir Spiegel continues to shake up the cantorial world

After releasing the single UV’Yom HaShabbos, and that left fans of the cantorial world open-mouthed, Dvir Spiegel continues with another masterpiece, heralding a new and innovative sound for cantorial music.

Since he can remember, Dvir Spiegel saw himself as a singer and cantor and so did those around him. Therefore he studied and learned a lot about a variety of musical styles; from cantorial to playing the guitar. The Music Department at Bar Ilan University and the Institute of Tel -Aviv for Cantors helped in his development as a chazzan.

Despite the extreme difference between them, the professional places where he studied, accounted for the successful recipe for music that he produces, both when playing in orchestras Chasidic leaders, like those of Solomon Katz, and more. He also achieved great success in the cantorial world with the chorus of Beis HaKnesset HaGadol in Jerusalem and the Kol Rina choir.

Dvir led fascinating integration between the worlds of different music with the winning concept of a combination of prayer and music clips, and world music as a result of studying the ways and meetings between musicians
Now a second single released from the album slated for full release B’Ezras Hashem in the coming months hopefully. The song is called, therefore, on the Tefilos HaShachar and lyrics by Yisrael Shor. Opening of the song is quite similar to a classic cantorial melody, but it takes a surprising turn resulting in an unimaginable, youthful and fresh sound.

A special performance for the album will take place Motzei Shabbos Chanuka, twenty-eighth of Kislev in the center of Brodet, Zeitlin St., Tel Aviv 22
