“אב הרחמים שוכן מרומים, ברחמיו העצומים, הוא יפקוד ברחמים, החסידים והישרים והתמימים, קהילות הקודש שמסרו נפשם על קדושת השם”
International star Sholom Jacobs along with his son Shmuel Jacobs and youth sensation Noam Bornstein sing “Av Harachamim”. An emotional heartfelt prayer that we have sung for centuries remembering our loved ones who gave up their life in sanctification of Hashem. As rockets rain down on our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land, we are confronted once more with the fragility of our lives, and again we are reminded of our common humanity and our common existence under one G-d. “Av Harachamim” is a powerful song, which strikes a chord in every Jewish soul, and is being sung in memory of the victims of operation “Shomer Hachomot”. This soulful song was produced into a meaningful, inspirational video by renowned producer, director Zvika Bornstein and it portrays our vulnerability, and yearning for Hashem to cast his mercy upon his children. The unique voices of Sholom, Shmuel and Noam along with the soulful delivery, manage to faithfully portray the deepest emotions inherent in this prayer.

Sholom Jacobs has been making his way up the charts and has performed in concerts and festivals throughout the globe. He also collaborated on many projects with leading Israeli and Jewish superstars like Gad Elbaz, Avraham Fried and many more. Sholom is also a well-known Chazan hailing from Glasgow, Scotland and has released the album “Pi Shnaim” with a collection of songs by Yossi Green and Moshe Laufer. Sholom is proud to debut his son Shmuel Jacobs, who has also been on the Jewish music scene, and has been performing alongside his father in beautiful harmonic duets. Also featuring, Noam Bornstein, who is celebrating his Bar Mitzvah this week. Noam performed and appeared in music videos alongside Gad Elbaz, Lipa, Nissim, Meir Kay and others. Noam is pleased to team up with Sholom & Shmuel and take part in this emotionally moving video as a tribute to those who perished in the last few weeks
