YEHUDA GLANTZ IS BACK!!!!
After a few-year hiatus, Yehuda (Julio) Glantz, the legendary performer of contemporary Jewish music (with a Latin twist) is back. Glantz is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album.
Yehuda will be releasing his latest CD, titled “Chai Vekayam, Jerusalem my life” featuring all new music. “My fans want to know where I’ve been, “says Glantz, “Frankly, I’ve been writing new material almost non-stop, and now I’m looking forward to singing it to the world. This is something very special, and I can’t wait to get out there and give this gift”.
Yehuda was born in Argentina, but immigrated to Israel in 1979. His musical style is a unique blend of Jewish music, borrowing from the old as well as contemporary compositions.
When you add the Latin influence, a clearly different sound is the result. It is this sound that has endeared him to music lovers around the world. Not surprisingly, his fans do not just come from the Jewish world. Glantz has also earned fans from all over, playing at both secular and Latin Music festivals.
In these days, Yehuda is embarking on an exciting new musical adventure in the virtual world. “I would like to invite you to participate in the project”, he says.” This is a groundbreaking endeavor. Now for the first time, using the web, you can take part in the creative process. The purpose of the project is to connect the world with the beautiful city of Jerusalem in all of her physical and spiritual splendor. Various styles of music thrive from within this city and my end goal is to provide a multi-sensory Jerusalem experience to people from all over the world. Since the drastic changes in the music industry took place, it is now more difficult than ever to accumulate proper funding to cover expenses. Besides for selling individual CD’s and songs,
I need and would greatly appreciate having partners in my musical ventures.
