Three Generations of Werdyger Singers Charm Thousands at RCCS Boro Park Dinner

As part of the heart-warming program of the recent Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society (RCCS) Boro Park dinner at the Ateres Chaya Hall in Boro Park, three generations of the world-renown Werdyger family made history by singing together to benefit the cancer-stricken patients of RCCS.

The entertainment was led by the venerable Cantor David Werdyger, accompanied by his sons Mordechai ben David and Mendy, together with his grandsons, Sruly and Yeedel Werdyger. They were accompanied by the Shira Singers and the Freilich Orchestra, and, throughout the evening, regaled the jam-packed hall with many heart-felt selections of neginah.

Each year, RCCS saves the lives of hundreds of cancer-stricken patients in need by subsidizing their health insurance premiums, thus providing them access to the best possible medical care. Today, RCCS subsidizes insurance policies for hundreds of cancer-stricken patients annually, and provides their families with insurance advocacy, social services, and medical direction.

RCCS, a recognized 501(c)3 organization, provides an array of services for cancer-stricken patients in need; primary among them is the subsidizing of health insurance premiums, enabling them to obtain the best possible medical care.
