Gad Elbaz Sings Ovadia Chamama “Birchat Hashanim” The First Single From His New Album

Right before the impending chag of Tu Bishvat, Gad Elbaz releases the first song from the his upcoming new project which will feature a whole album of songs by Ovadia Chamama.

The first artistic encounter between Gad and Ovadia occurred back in 2001. Gad released the wonderful song “Keshehadmaot Zolgot” released back in (2002).

In retrospect, this significant meeting between the two wrote the most profound way that following the release of this song, Elbaz met his future wife … and a few years later Elbaz the two shared the heavenly quorum “Ana BeKoach”.

Gad Elbaz is huge and respected singer with amazing vocal abilities. He has been a star for years in traditional and religious community in Israel and abroad, with a resume that boasts of countless venues around the country and abroad.

Since then, Gad Elbaz appears to communities and among others also leads to the distribution Ana worldwide

Elbaz has filed several other most beautiful songs over the years, including in particular these songs which stood out: “Tefillat Haderech” and “Tefillat Geshem” from the platinum selling album “Shamayim Vaaretz” (2006), “KeShehaneshama Meira” (2009) and “Shirat HaOlam” (2011).

Gad Elbaz was asked to release an entire album of songs by his friend Ovadia Chamama, and the two went to work right away working very hard in recent years compiling an exciting collection of songs which they are now titling “Shirat Haaretz.”

The new album is a complete mosaic of Poems and Prayers ancient and modern, memorial songs of thanksgiving and songs of longing and love of country.
Elbaz serves a powerful voice and exquisite love poetry of the country of Chamama. The album will be published during 2014.
