The huge audience was thirsty for his songs, and the last 2 nights chassidic singer Yaakov Shwekey did not let them down when he appeared for the second time Hall of Fame of Israeli music. The stadium at Caseria was full to capacity and not just in the audience by on stage as well. Two hundred voices, 60 musicians with instruments, duets, new songs and guests performances. Missed the show? Well you can at least see the gallery below and marvel at the concert that was. Guest performers were Chazan Yitzchok Meir Helfgot & Chaim Israel. Surprise guests were Baruch Levine and two of the Shapiro Brothers (Acheinu).

Avraham Fried performed last night at a concert in Sultan in Jerusalem. Sultan is a An ancient pool in the valley of Hinnom, beneath the west side of Mt Zion. It was part of the water supply system of Jerusalem from the Roman period until the late Ottoman period. The “lower aqueduct” was built around the circumference of the pool.

Also performing at lasts night show was Daniel Ahaviel, Ariel Zilber with music by Yuval Stupal.

JJ Fried presents “Mazel Ubrocho”. Its been nearly a decade since JJ Fried released a album. When asked the reason for doing so now he answered “I feel that people need and want a more simple album where the melody carries through without needing too many musical arrangements”. Mazel Ubrocho features brand new songs composed by the best in the biz; Yossi Green, Pinky Webber, Chaim Banet, Ruvi Banet & Yidi Shtroli. Add to that mix the vocals by Beri Weber, Shloime Taussig, Shloime Cohen, Michoel Schnitzler Nechemia Brodt and Shauly Waldner and you have a very well refined album as well. “I originally wanted to call the album “All About The Melody”, Its not that JJ hasn’t been involved in Jewish Music in the last 10 years, but that he has taken a behind the scenes roll. He’s a consult to the music industry on a daily basis. From the biggest to the smallest people in the musical world for questions answers and ideas. I mean one can’t produce over 45 albums and then just go cold turkey. “This album has been unfinished for the last 8 or 9 years, says JJ”. “Now was the time to finish it and give the people the type of album they want”.

Itzik Dadia releases his second single “Ani Nischaf“. Words and Music by Sharon Avilhak, Musical Production by Doron Elimelech. After the amazing success of Itzik Dadia’s first single “Ma Sheyehiyeh” and tour in both Brazil and Italy Itzik releases his second single from his debut album entitled “Am Yisrael”.

Itzik Dadia, 17, one of the premiere single and gained himself a pack of fans who accompanied him to all his performances. Dadia, produced and managed by David Fadida who already has produced/managed Oif Shimchas, the Kinederlach and Ohad Moskowitz. Together they break into a genre of music Mediterranean Jewish communities in the country.

“Derech Chadasha” – Chaim Israel

Chaim Israel one of the great middle eastern singers. Behind him more than ten are considered inalienable goods in music. Chaim’s big break was with the hit song “Yisgadal Vyiskadash” more then a decade ago, and from there its all history.

After a short absence from his music career, he returned a year ago and started working on his latest album “Derech Chadasha“. The show at the Mann Auditorium this past Shushan Purimwas witnessed by more then a thousand fans in the audience.

“Derech Chadasha” the title track was the first single to be released off the new album at the show at the Mann earlier this year. The full album includes 15 tracks with musical production under the direction of Yakov Lamay. Another took part in the album: Yossi Gysfune, Adi Leon, Rami Raba, Shmuel Yona, and Tamir Tzur.
